We want to make web technology available to everyone who wants to make use of it – whether novice or expert. Over our years of experience in the hosting industry, we have listened to what our clients want – how we can make their website work better for them.
We’ve even developed a repertoire of software applications (hugely popular with our client base) as a result of feedback and experience. What people wanted just didn’t exist – so we made it.
At 24/7 Hosting, we feel that we need to be socially responsible for the world we share. We actively support the work of charities and non profit groups and have established a free lifetime hosting sponsorship for all those groups.

24/7 Hosting & Design was first established in 2007 by a local Christchurch individual who sold the company in 2009 to SAFI who we purchased it from mid 2010.
Since the very beginning 24/7 Hosting & Design has been 100% Christchurch Owned & Operated and still continues today. Since purchasing the company in 2010, 24/7 Hosting & Design has become one of the fastest growing Web Hosting companies in New Zealand.
We have an extensive network over New Zealand with our two main Data Centres located in Christchurch. One just out of the CBD and the other is located near Christchurch Airport, both Data Centres were selected after a vigorously selection process ensuring we can provide the ultimate secure, redundant solution to our valued customers.
Our hosting network has servers located in Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Australia, America and recently in a brand new Data Centre in Fiji which now hosts a government department and several hotels throughout Fiji and Cook Islands.
24/7 Hosting owns all its servers which in 2011 were replaced with 1U SuperMicro 6016 Servers, these units are extremely reliable and built for ultimate redundancy. Just recently we launched our Cloud Hosting Platform on the new SuperMicro Blade Server, this runs our Business & eCommerce Hosting Plans providing the ultimate Redundancy of 99.99%.

In writing this our Uptime is currently between 99.99% - 100% on all our servers, this is monitored by our 3rd party Pingdom who also monitor for Microsoft, McAfee, Amazon.com and Vodafone so they’re defiantly a company that knows what they’re doing!
Our specialist Network Engineers are on-call 24/7 who can immediately connect to our servers via our secure Management Network or be at our data centre within 15 minutes. Our Management Network allows us to connect to any server on our network even if the server has lost power or internet connectivity ensuring we can begin the fault diagnostics.
We offer affordable web hosting solutions for New Zealander’s and customers around the world our unique order scanning ensures we don’t allow illegal websites or spammers onto our servers. This allows our customers to have a safe, secure, fast hosting environment giving the best possible speeds whether the visitor is from NZ or on the other side of the world.
