Fully Redundant Power SolutionsOur datacentre's generator architecture assures that any power outages are 100% avoided. In the unlikely event that the local utility power supply is disrupted the power transfer switches automatically signal the diesel-powered generators to start up and switch power flow to the generators. Our UPS units are supplied with power through a battery system that ensures the power supply to servers is uninterrupted. In case any generator fails, our datacentre has additional backup generators that are activated automatically to keep power supplies flowing. And if by any chance there is an extended power outage, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely.
24/7 System Administration and Monitoring24/7 Hosting provides 24/7/365 human network monitoring, performed by our highly qualified system administrators. We also have an 3rd party monitoring service called Pingdom which pings all IP addresses connected to our network at 1 minute intervals from over 20 locations located around the world. We're alerted instantly via multiple channels if any IP addresses are detected as being offline.
Green Web HostingWe are environmentally responsible and all of our servers are intentionally located in the green-oriented data centres in New Zealand. We are already enjoying the results of several green initiatives aiming to reduce the power consumption and increase the operating efficiency. Our data centres now work with optimised management of cold airflow, reduced bypass airflow, more efficient airflow direction to server cabinets.
